Christmas 2017 – Snowflakes

Hello and welcome! For this year's Christmas card, I decided to choose 2 products I have and see what I could made from them. For this post, I am sharing how I created 3 different card designs using this MFT Stylish Snowflakes die. Craft products are fun but the costs does add up so it would be great if we could do as much as we could with one product to get our money worth.

Rainbow series 3 - animal farm scene

Hello and welcome.
Today I am sharing another fun card that is easy to create. I know this is not a rainbow card but it fits with the concept of using various coloured scraps.

Light up birthday cake card

Hello! Thanks for coming over. Hope you are having a great day.

Today, I am sharing how I created this fun, interactive light up card. I bought this Chibitronics Chibi Lights LED Circuit Stickers starter kit a while ago but haven’t got round to playing with it. I had a lot of fun creating this card, reminiscing my time in a Physics laboratory when we had to create series and parallel circuit.

Rainbow series 2 - shaker background

Hello again. I hope you are having a great week.
I am continuing with the rainbow series, where I made rainbow paper out of my scraps. I tend to be indecisive when making cards so I do generate quite a bit of scraps, and I liked my stuff kept neat and organised so the ever-growing pile of scraps disturbs me.

Sympathy card with Altenew Lacy Scrolls

Welcome and Hello! Today I am sharing a sympathy card that I made for a family who had recently lost their patriarch. I find sympathy card challenging to make, perhaps it was because this was my first time making one. I did have a vision of how I wanted the card to look in my head which I sort of replicate in paper.

You are a Star, Dad

Hello. Hope you are having a great week. I always wanted to play with glitter and was so glad I finally found the perfect card to work on. I wanted to make a star-themed card for my dads on Father’s Day. And Stars must be shiny and glittery, right!

White outline stamping on coloured paper

Hello. Hope you are doing well and thanks for dropping by. I hope you will find this post useful in your paper-crafting journey. White colour pencil has always been largely ignored amongst my colour pencils. But eversince I started crafting, I realised white is not merely an absence of colour but a beautiful colour itself. It can be used to highlight, soften  or give definition to images.

Altenew Vintage Roses

Hello. Thanks for dropping by. I have been very busy with work lately and did not have time to craft. I thought I would share some of my older cards instead.

This was a card I made last year using the gorgeous Altenew Vintage Roses stamp layering set. This card was very easy to make and the final product is so pretty. I fell in love with the Altenew Flower stamp set when I first saw them. The flowers are just so gorgeous.

Heat embossing - 3 different designs

Hello and Welcome to my blog. I thought I would share with you one of the very first card that I made. I started cardmaking about a year ago after stumbling onto Jennifer McGuire's videos when I was searching the internet on stamping. She is so incredible and she made crafting seems so easy. You should totally check out her blog.

All the following cards used the same basic technique.  As this was actually my first time heat embossing and I did a very poor job in my first few attempts,  I had to improvised by trimming down and saved what I could.
