Altenew Vintage Roses

Hello. Thanks for dropping by. I have been very busy with work lately and did not have time to craft. I thought I would share some of my older cards instead.

This was a card I made last year using the gorgeous Altenew Vintage Roses stamp layering set. This card was very easy to make and the final product is so pretty. I fell in love with the Altenew Flower stamp set when I first saw them. The flowers are just so gorgeous.

I used different combinations of the Altenew Cool Summer Night cube set blue dye ink (Sea Glass, Ocean Waves, Dusk, Desert Night) to stamp the flower images. For the leaves, I used a combination of various dye and chalk green ink I have.

The images were mounted on a card base. The sentiment from Clearly Besotted Stylish Flowers (discontinued) were gold heat embossed on vellum. I drew a few lines using ballpoint pen across the area of the card where I intended to place the sentiment to give it some interest. The vellum piece was mounted using thin washi tape.

It was very quick to assemble the card and I love how it turned out. Definitely one of my favourite.
