Altenew Vintage Roses

Hello. Thanks for dropping by. I have been very busy with work lately and did not have time to craft. I thought I would share some of my older cards instead.

This was a card I made last year using the gorgeous Altenew Vintage Roses stamp layering set. This card was very easy to make and the final product is so pretty. I fell in love with the Altenew Flower stamp set when I first saw them. The flowers are just so gorgeous.

Heat embossing - 3 different designs

Hello and Welcome to my blog. I thought I would share with you one of the very first card that I made. I started cardmaking about a year ago after stumbling onto Jennifer McGuire's videos when I was searching the internet on stamping. She is so incredible and she made crafting seems so easy. You should totally check out her blog.

All the following cards used the same basic technique.  As this was actually my first time heat embossing and I did a very poor job in my first few attempts,  I had to improvised by trimming down and saved what I could.

Monochromatic background stamping

Hello. Hope you are doing well today.

For today's cards, I used the same technique by stamping small images with inks that complement the card base.

Missing You This Holiday Season

Hello and thanks for dropping by today.
I blacked heat embossed on watercolour paper and watercoloured this cute girl from MFT Pure Innocence Warm Winter (discontinued set). I fussied-cut the image and brushed the side of the image with black marker.

I blended various shades and combinations of Distress ink –Tumbled Glass, Shaded Lilac and Spun Sugar on white card stock. MFTSnow Drift die-cut and the coloured girl image were foam mounted on a side-folding card base.
