For today’s card, I stamped Mama Elephant Toy Shop image on
watercolor paper, black heat embossed (with VersaMark and Wow Primary EbonySuper Fine embossing powder) and colored the image with watercolor.
I used the scallop edge die from MFT Bluprint 27 to cut out
the card front.
Wilted violet and Chipped sapphire Distress ink was blended
in for the background in this card. The card above and below was actually the
same card but had very different shades in different light.
The background for the card below was ink blended using
Distress Ink Tumbled Glass and Altenew Sea Glass. MFT White Pigment Ink was
dotted on to give a falling snow feel scene.
For both cards, I sprayed some
Perfect Pearl infused water to give them some pearly shine, which I failed to
capture on camera.
The image on the display window
was stamped and colored using color pencils. The sentiments were white heat
embossed and embellishment added.
