For the beach scene card, I used the MFT Snow drift die to
make a mask so I can ink blend the beach with Versamagic Sahara Sand and the
sea with Distress Oxide Salty Ocean. The sky scene is ink blended using
Distress Oxide Broken China and MFT Mini Cloud Edges Stencil.
I hand drawn the birds using Pigma Micron 08 and added dots
onto the sand using Distress Oxide Vintage Photo.
The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Flip Flop Season (discontinued).
For the park scene, again, I used the MFT Snow Drift die to
make the grassy slopes. The sky was ink blended using Distress Oxide Broken China and MFT Mini Cloud Edges Stencil. The trees was from Mama Elephant Christmas Scene and sentiment was from Mama Elephant Just a Note.
I mirror-stamped the Little Boy with the soccer ball so that
I can have two boys playing ball together. The letter box was from Lawn Fawn Just For You and I thought the Little Cat sending mail was a fun touch. The
birds was hand drawn using Pigma Micron 08.
I hope the cards reminds you of some fun you had in the sun
or get you to take some time out to have fun in the sun.
Such a cute scene! Great summer card! Thanks so much for joining us at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge :)
ReplyDeleteBoth of these are very cute! I love that you used the snowdrift to make the Sandune‘s and the grassy areas. It’s always fun to stretch our dies, isn’t it? Makes me feel like I’m getting a bang for my buck, so to speak. Those little people are so adorable. Thanks for joining us for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge.
