Simon Says Stamp (SSS) Tumbling Leaves stencil, Distress Oxides and Nuvo glimmer paste

Hello and welcome to my blog. I have been crafting for a few years now and I can't believe it took me this long to crafting with a stencil. And this popular SSS Tumbling Leaves stencil is just perfect for a stencil first-timer like me. This blog is on my exploration with stencil and Distress Oxides ink.

I did a mix of black and white card stock with Distress Oxide ink on stencil. For some of the card stock, I actually used glimmer paste.

For the first card, I ink blend Peacock Feather and Broken China on white card stock. I white heat embossed the sentiment from Avery Elle Simple Sentiments on a black sentiment strip. Spectrum noir sparkle pen is added onto the blue leaves for the shine. Blue gems was added to the sentiment strip for interest.

Alert! Warning! You will need sunglasses for the next card.

The second card started with ink blending on white card stock using Wild Honey and Spiced Marmalade. Half way through I changed my mind and decided to use Nuvo Golden Crystal glimmer paste over the stencil. The sentiment was put together using the Essentials by Ellen Classic Block Alpha by Julie.

The rest of the cards was made on black card stock. This one was ink blended using Salty Ocean and Iced Spruce. The sentiment was from Penny Black Heartfelt Thanks. Some blue gems were added to the card.

This next card was ink blended using Wild Honey and Spiced Marmalade and the sentiment was from Mama Elephant with jewels from Pretty Pink Posh Watermelon Mix.

Next, we have this card blended with Distress Oxides Fossilised Amber and Peeled paint and sentiment is from Mama Elephant with jewels from Pretty Pink Posh Watermelon Mix..

The final card I am sharing today uses the Nuvo Garnet red and Pink Opal glimmer paste over the SSS Tumbling Leaves stencil.

I had a lot of fun using ink and paste I had over the stencil and I thought they turned out rather well. It's all about just trying things out, learn and if you don't like how it turn out, try it differently the next time. I find it normally turns out well. Even the ones that turn out bad, you can cut them up and use the good bit. I hope you will find time to try things out and play with your craft supplies.

MFT Mon Cherie black and white theme

Hello and welcome to my blog. Sharing this card I made using the My Favourite Things (MFT Stamps) Mon Cherie stamp set. I had this awning die-cut in my stash for a while and wanted to use it and I thought it would be perfect with the Mon Cherie stamp to create a chic black and white shopfront scene.

The frame is from the MFT Blueprint 27 die and a stacking die. I decorated the envelope with the lamp from the stamp set

I added tons of shine onto the card using Wink of Stella. I hope you enjoy today's card and will drop by again. Thank you.
