MFT stamp Class Act

Hello and welcome to my blog. I really appreciate you dropping by. I was excited to finally made a card using the MFT stamp Class Act stamp set and Distress Oxides ink.

For this card, I started with a pale purple card stock. The MFT Class Act stamp set has many sentiment and I clear heat embossed all the sentiment diagonally on the card stock.

Then I blended in various shades of purple Distress Oxides just to add contrast. The sentiment was black heat embossed & the girl water colored and both glued on with foam tape.

I hope you find some inspiration today for your next creation. Thank you again for dropping by.

MFT Sailor Girl rainbow

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am sharing a shaker card made using some Distress Oxide ink and My Favourite Things (MFT stamps) Sailor Girl.

I blended various Distress Oxide ink - Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet, Faded Jeans, Peacock Feather and Cracked Pistachios on water color paper.

The sentiment was white heat embossed on black card strip. I actually did two sentiment strips - not glued on as I could not decide which one to use so I can glued on the sentiment when I decide who to send to and use the one that fit the occasion.

I also stamped on the envelope, both front and back to add interest for the recipient.

Thank you for dropping by, I hope you like today's card. I will be sharing more cards soon. Have a good week ahead!

Distress Oxides Embossed Background

Hello and welcome. Aren’t these backgrounds just gorgeous? I used Distress Oxide ink briefly in one of my earlier post and wanted to play with them more so I decided to do some background by blending Distress Oxide ink.

Little Agenda & Distress Oxides Ink

I have been wanting to try Distress Oxide since I heard how well it blends with its dye and pigment properties. Ink blending has always been a challenge to me as I always find myself too heavy handed. As you can see in my cards here, the oxides ink blended very well and see how smooth they looked.
